I’ve been studying, interacting with, and fascinated by the generations for over 10 years.
In high school, I enjoyed talking to and being around older people so much that I started a nonprofit called DreamCatchers, dedicated to fulfilling end-of-life Dreams of hospice patients in my community. Over the past 10 years, DreamCatchers has become a nationwide organization run by youth chapters, and my experience interacting with high school and college students inspired my study of the generations.
I dove in with my own generation, the Millennials, by researching and writing a book on my experiences and interactions called “How to Attract Millennials: And Actually Keep Us!”. Since then, I’ve spoken nationwide to organizations, companies, at large conferences and small, to help teams get more connected by understanding the generations. I coach leaders on how to recruit incoming generations while managing the differences amongst the 5 generations in the workplace right now. I consult with corporations on how to create a culture and environment more conducive to all 5 generations and their success. I speak to audiences about generational differences, and how we all actually complement one another in a team setting.
